An alert has been issued by police investigators on Long Island as they attempt to locate a man who allegedly stole groceries from Stop & Shop.

Suffolk County Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man who was caught on camera stealing from the Stop & Shop location on Middle Country Road in Coram.

The alleged shoplifting incident took place at approximately 5:50 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, police said.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect has been asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or leaving a tip online.
